Ajay Devgan’s dream movie, Shivaay is pitted against Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil this Diwali weekend at the box office. Shivaay Movie Review and Ratings

The story line of Shivaay is not new, but the way trailers of the film and song created the expectation among the audiences, it seemed to be one promising films in recent times. The story starts with Ajay Devgan and Erika’s love story which he meets in Bulgaria. Their fast-paced love story moves forward after they have a one-night stand making Erika pregnant. Ajay wants to start a family with her, but Erika is not ready for the family and leaves Ajay and their newborn daughter behind and go away. The story takes a leap of 8 years showing some beautiful moments between the father and daughter. Ajay’s Daughter (Abigail) is deaf and mute, and they both head out to search her mother in Bulgaria. But another thing is waiting for them as his daughter gets Kidnapped and then the good man turns into a bad man fighting for his family. How Ajay fights with all the villains and gets to his daughter is what makes the movie Shivaay.

Shivaay Movie Hit Ya Flop Rating

Performance wise, there is literally Ajay Devgan in each and every frame making of much of Ajay Devgan in the movie and leaving very less scope for other actors to rise in the movie. The very positive point about the movie is Ajay’s brilliant acting and the breathtaking visuals of Bulgarian mountains. The much disappointment is the film’s villain, as they do not come out as strong as the hero of the film does. The hero, Ajay Devgan is unstoppable and fights with all the opponents with some impeccable but illogical stunts. No avalanche can stop this superhero family man to save his girl. Sayyeshaa Sehgal is Shivaay’s friend who helps him completing his mission. Even the father-daughter story is not at their best and audiences are not very much happy the movie moves on with a slow pace. Bollylol also gave this film an average rating.

Ajay Devgan’s Shivaay Final Review

Overall, Shivaay looked promising but lacked execution. The music is a plus point for the movie with the background score giving a hard-hitting punch in the storyline. Ajay is seen having full body tattooed with serpents, Lord Shiva images, and his intrigued eyes are very much appealing. Ajay Devgan’s fans would surely like the film.
